The Time is Right
English Sparkling Wine rivals the great wines of Champagne, craft gin is booming and British brewers are creating ever more interesting beers - the drinks of the UK really are the toast of the town! And with consumers' ever-increasing thirst for knowledge about how and by whom these drinks are made, we know the time is right to launch our day tours.
We want to champion the work of the finest producers in the South of England, giving everyone the opportunity to learn their stories and taste their high quality wines, beers and spirits. That's why we have put together itineraries showcasing the best the South has to offer in one entertaining and insightful day out.
Your Host
Our tours and tasting events are hosted by Grape & Grain Tours owner, Joel Eastman. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Joel's 12 year career in the drinks industry has brought him to the UK and seen him managing boutique wine and spirits stores, promoting international whisky brands to top London hotels and restaurants, running countless wine and spirits tastings and distilling gin at boutique distilleries in London and Surrey.
Joel loves to share top quality wine, beer and spirits, a passion surely passed down from his father, who ran tours of Australia's Hunter Valley wine region for many years. Joel leads each tour with an infectious enthusiasm, sharing his first-hand knowledge and experience of the UK drinks industry.
